Marketing

My first experiences in marketing came during my time as a graphic artist at Lifetouch Church Directories & Portraits. My territory manager had an incredible mind for marketing. She introduced the idea of using member directories as marketing tools for churches who needed to recruit new members.

Although she taught me the first principles of marketing, I furthered my knowledge of the subject with classes in marketing and specifically marketing research during my undergrad and graduate studies at Florida State. I completed several marketing projects for the FSU Athletics Department and one for the Jacksonville Jaguars (see below). My first job after college was in marketing for a boutique web and graphic design firm (see my Old City Web Services page for details) where I used the concepts I learned from my former boss and my school education to promote my employer as well as its clients all over the country.
